I qualified in 2000 as a registered nurse at a large London teaching hospital and have been a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) in pain management since 2005. With professional development I now hold a MSc (distinction) in Advanced Practice as well as being an Independent Nurse Prescriber and the pain lead nurse.
I gained my medical hypnotherapy qualification from University College London (UCL) in 2007 and have a specialist interest in Gut Focused Hypnotherapy since establishing the hypnotherapy service at St Mark’s hospital Harrow. Though I have a specialist interest, I enjoy working in the many different areas of hypnotherapy with both adult and children clientele.
I also hold a certificate in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) which is used accordingly in sessions.
I adhere to my Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) Nursing code of practice which lays more than 22 years medical and clinical knowledge as a foundation for hypnotherapy, as well as abiding by the leading regulating bodies for Hypnotherapy – The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) as well as being registered practitioner on the General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR)
I am fully DBS checked and hold additional Professional Indemnity insurance.
When not working I enjoy a very active lifestyle which includes my husband and two young boys as well as a Hungarian Vizsla puppy, Charlie. I have maintained going to the gym with my twin sister, most mornings before work and enjoy badminton as a sport and reading.
